In order to facilitate transparent transfers of analogic or numeric signals, SATEL developed the SATELLINK range with input-output modules named I-LINK, or i-LINK, which allow cables to be replaced very simply by radio transmission.
The required hardware is at least 2 radio modems and 2 SATELLINK modules.
By wiring the logic or analog signals into “inputs” of an I-LINK module, obtaining these same “output” signals from a remote I-LINK module is very simple to implement.
The system works in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint (master-slaves).
Modbus versions are available.
I-LINK 100
I-LINK 100 includes :
- 4 logical inputs, 4 logical outputs
- 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs
Other signals can be added by stacking the I-LINK 100 (max 3) or use other modules with more signals (I-LINK 200 or I-LINK 300).
I-LINK 200
Designed as a signal expansion module for I-LINK 100 modules, I-LINK 200 allows you to add :
- 4 logical inputs, 4 logical outputs
- 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs
On an I-LINK-100 module, up to 3 I-LINK 200 modules can be stacked.
I-LINK 300
Also designed as a signal expansion module for I-LINK 100 modules, I-LINK 300 allows you to add :
- 6 logical inputs, 6 logical outputs
On an I-LINK-100 module, up to 3 I-LINK 300 modules can be stacked.
i-LINK
The i-LINK is a “pulse counter” and “input / output signal converter” module for SATELLINE 1870E modems only.
i-LINK stands out with its compact form and competitive cost. It provides a simple solution to many applications that require logical signal or counting transfers.
It includes :
- 2 logical inputs, 2 logical outputs (static relays)
- 1 fast pulse counter
