The SATEL-TR489 module comes in the form of a PCB card which is easily integrated onto the application motherboard. It has the same form factor as the SATELLINE-M3-TR4 module. Particularly compact, it can be easily integrated into any type of embedded or portable application.
It is compatible with radio modems from the SATELLINE and SATEL ranges. Associated with a high-power EASy-Pro 25/35W radio modem, it allows the recovery of RTK positioning data over large distances. In a ‘high point’ network made up of EASy radio modems, it will be easily integrated into a mobile fleet.
Its main characteristics are:
- Multi-frequency: 403…473 MHz, 856…876 MHz and 902…928 MHz
- Configurable transmission power: 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 or 1000 mW
- Very good receiver sensitivity
- Modulation (400 / 800 / 900 MHz): 4, 8 or 16FSK / 4FSK / 2-GFSK
- Radio speed (400 / 800 / 900 MHz): from 9600 to 28 800 bits/s / from 14400 to 19200 bits/s / 115 200 bits/s
- Channel spacing (400 / 800 MHz): 12.5, 20 or 25 kHz
- Spread spectrum transmission by frequency hopping in the 900 MHz band
- Power supply: +3.8 to 5.5 VDC
The radio modem is configured on a PC, using a standard terminal or the SATEL configuration manager.
Advanced Features
The SATEL-TR489 modules include advanced addressing, repetition and routing features. It is possible to simply create networks in bus, star or extended topology. Automatic routing offers an overhop function that is particularly useful for managing mobile devices.
Compatibility
The SATEL-TR489 module is compatible with SATELLINE range modems (3AS included), SATEL range radio modems (Easy, Easy 869…) and M3-TR4 modules.
It is compatible with Pacific Crest-4FSK / GMSK / FST protocols.
Integration support
